Poem

WHERE AM I

The noises were deafening to my ears

Like letting out energy they'd caged up for years

Smells of all kinds were wafting around

Sniffing harder means new ones are found

Objects scurrying from here to there

Hustling and bustling with no trace of care

Everything moving from what I can see

Everything has its purpose never mind about me

The only touch is something brushing past

Everything is in a rush like they're set to mega fast

If I sit down I watch them all go by

If I said nothing was busy that would be a lie

Everywhere is full of activity Where am I?

I'm in the city
